If you find a book you'd like to read cited in another source, you may fill out a blank request form.
The FASTEST way to obtain a book, film, or CD via SMSU Interlibrary Loan:
Use the library catalog and Get It!
1. Search the SMSU Library for books.
2. If you don't find your book, use the toggle on the left side of the screen to "Add results from other libraries."
3. Click the title of the item you want. You should see an option to select "Request from another library." You will be prompted to enter your StarID and password.
4. A completed form for the article you are requesting will appear. Be sure to select the "Article" radial button at the top of the form
5. Next, select the checkbox next to the Copyright Compliance agreement.
6. Finally, select "Send" at the bottom of the form.
You will receive an automated email notification letter stating that the item you requested is ready for you to pick up at the SMSU Library Circulation Desk.*
*If your Library record indicates that you are a "document delivery" patron, the book or other item will be sent to you via U.S. postal mail.
