SMSU Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service allowing you to borrow materials from outside the SMSU Library.

Login to My Account to request interlibrary loans, check the status of your existing requests, and ask for renewals.  You will use the 14-digit barcode on your SMSU ID card as your username and your last name as your password.

If you don't find your book in the Library Catalog, try searching

MnPALS: a catalog of MnSCU libraries (use your SMSU ID and password to request items)

MnLink: a statewide library catalog (use your SMSU ID and password to request items)

WorldCat: a worldwide library catalog (note: to request an item from WorldCat, most often you must fill out a blank book request form. Currently there is no way to request directly from WorldCat unless the item is owned by a MnPALS library.)
